When the story of my transition hit the tabloids in January 2016 I had no concept of where my new notoriety would take me.

I can’t believe that I’ve been given this opportunity and I’m thrilled at the prospect of leading one of the most exciting developments in British television for decades.
The world is changing, and not always for the better, throughout the world there is an increasing wave of bigotry and prejudice. This channel represents a very real possibility to combat that and change peoples lives. We’re aiming to entertain, educate and inspire our viewers.
