People’s Pride Southampton (PPS) was started in January 2020 and became a registered charity in October 2020. The organisation aims to provide inclusive accessible events and support services to the city’s LGBT+ community. The charity has now announced that Dr. Sophie Cook (the first trans woman to work in the premier league, as a photographer) has become its first patron.
