A woman has spoken of her pride at becoming the first transgender news anchor in Europe. Sophie Cook, 48, has joined Brighton’s Latest TV as an on air personality and head of diversity. ‘It’s a great honour for me to be given this opportunity by Latest TV and is a real step forward for transgender visibility and awareness,’ she said.
